My love and appreciation for flowers began as a child. Growing up in Romania I would spend every summer at my Nana’s house, she had various gardens surrounding her house, however my attention was always drawn to the secluded flower garden tucked away behind her home. This garden was filled with the most beautiful selection of flowers, from lilies to fressia’s, each complementing each other to capture nature’s true essence and allure. But as a child, I was never allowed to enter this garden and my Nana would always tell me that true beauty is made to be admired not possessed. Not being allowed to enter the garden only developed my love and fascination for flowers, because as we all know, the things we can’t have are the things we want the most.

My childhood memories of watching the flowers bloom every spring remain a core source of happiness and joy that has stayed with me throughout my life. These memories have inspired me to want to share this sense of joy with others, and to nurture a deep appreciation and love for flowers, through the formation of Floretta.
