If you are looking to create the perfect working environment, why not combine your office plants with some office flowers as a one-off or a regular subscription.
Each office is different however as a broad guideline it us suggested that they should be watered every 1-2 weeks.
The easiest way to tell if your office plant needs to be watered is by feeling the soil in its pot – if the compost feels dry, it might be time to give your plant a drink.
It is also important to make sure you are using room temperature water with your plants, cold water can shock the plant, leading to other problems. For some house plants it is advised to boil water first and then let it cool or to use rain water.
Leaves can be a clear indicator of plant health- so it can be a worrying time when they start changing colour or even drop off completely.
Leaves can turn unusual colour for several reasons, from the normal aging of your plant to overwatering, a cold draft or a lack of light.
You may also notice your houseplants’ leaves starting to curl or dry out- this can be a sign that your plant is not receiving enough water, and your plant is trying to prevent further water loss.
The most likely reason is you’re over-watering them.
Other reasons include: you haven’t picked the right plant for the right spot, there’s too much or to less light, it’s too hot/cold or there’s not enough humidity, or you live in a area with hard water.
Is important to know what each houseplant wants in terms of light, temperature and humidity, and make sure you’re meeting these requirements.
